Replace Your Windows Calculator with an Easy-to-Use
Powerhouse
Moffsoft has released Moffsoft Calculator 2, an easy-to-use
Windows
calculator that includes a printable history tape, powerful
financial
functions, unit conversions, date/time calculations, product
pricing, and
one-click switching from a standard handheld calculator's
input style to
that of a standard desktop 10-key calculator.
The on-screen item count and the easy-to-read on-screen calculator
tape
minimize data entry errors. Calculation accuracy is further
enhanced by the
ability to review your work. The calculator tape can be saved
in five
different formats, and it's easy to customize the title that
appears at the
top of the printout.
The product pricing functionality calculates cost of goods
sold, profit
margin, retail sales price, and gross profit. You can also
markup and
markdown a product's price to quickly assess the impact on
your profit.
You can use a floating decimal point or a fixed number of
decimal places. To
increase calculation speed, you can turn the auto-decimal
feature on, and
the program will automatically enter the decimal point for
you. You can
define an unlimited number of constants, and store up to five
values in
memory. There's even a tax button; simply define your local
tax rate, and
with a single click Moffsoft Calculator 2 will tell you the
amount of tax.
With built-in financial functions, you can easily calculate
and print loan
payments, amortization schedules, depreciation, bonds, cash
flows, and
interest rate conversions. There are more than 100 built-in
conversion
calculations, allowing you to quickly convert units of time,
temperature,
currency, length, volume, weight, area, speed, and even data
storage. The
date/time logic lets you calculate such things as days between
dates.
Moffsoft Calculator 2 sits in the system tray and can be
opened with a
single click. The calculator is resizable and can be set to
always stay on
top. Color schemes and font sizes are user configurable. You
can make the
calculator smaller by turning off the calculator tape and
toolbar, or larger
by dragging a corner of the display across your screen.
With a single click, you can change the calculator's input
mode. The
algebraic format works like most handheld calculators, while
the adding
machine format works just like a desktop 10-key.
Whether you're an accountant or financial analyst who needs
to review, save,
and print calculations, a business person who wants instant
access to
powerful financial functions and unit conversions, or a home
user who wants
a calculator that lets you easily identify and recover from
data-entry
errors, Moffsoft Calculator 2 gives you the tools that you
need.
Moffsoft Calculator 2 runs on Windows 95/98/Me/NT4/2000/XP,
costs $19.95(US)
for a single-user license, and may be purchased securely online
